Colorado's most costly wildfire, the Marshall Fire, incinerated 1,084 homes in a single day in 2021. But this isn't just a story of destruction. "Red Flag" dives deep into the heart of this tragedy, exploring the chilling reality of a firestorm erupting under a sky eerily devoid of a "Red Flag" warning – the signal of imminent fire danger. We journey with families shattered by the flames, as they rebuild their lives amidst the ashes. We also delve into the history of fire prevention, from the wisdom of Native American cultures to the cutting-edge AI technologies battling to protect life and property. Red Flag asks the question. Are we prepared for the future of wildfire in the US?
This project was created and produced by passionate award-winning Colorado filmmakers who aim to make a difference by interviewing and recounting the stories of communities whose lives are affected by the Marshall Fire.

We set out to tell the story of the lives effected in our community by the Marshall Fire. Since 2021 Wildfire has become a global pandemic and we have increased the scope of our film to include what is being done to abate future catastrophes that change is not without a cost. We need financial help to continue the project
